Universal Health Services (UHS) is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) at Summit Oaks Hospital in Summit, NJ. The role covers 24 hours weekly across two days, with potential overtime and shift coverage opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey RN licensure; BSN/BS preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience, or 2 years of medical/surgical experience with proven leadership, strong clinical skills, and high motivation.
• Graduate of NLN accredited program preferred.
• ANA Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing certification preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and respond to medical needs of patients under the guidance of the physicians.
• Conduct safety checks and implement appropriate behavioral management techniques.
• Monitor, report, and document patient behaviors and overall well being.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as needed under the guidance of treatment team.
• Maintain the core values and mission of Summit Oaks Hospital.
