Universal Health Services’ Summit Oaks Hospital in Summit, New Jersey, is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time behavioral health role. The position runs 7am–7pm, 3 days per week (36 hours) with a $12,000 sign-on bonus and opportunities for overtime.

Requirements include active NJ RN licensure, BSN preferred, 1 year of psychiatric nursing or 2 years med/surg with leadership, NLN accreditation preferred, CPR required, and ANA PMHN certification preferred.

Qualifikationen

• One (1) year of psychiatric nursing experience, or two (2) years of medical/surgical experience with leadership, strong clinical skills and motivation.
• Graduate of NLN accredited program preferred.
• ANA Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing certification preferred.

This is a Full Time position from 7am - 7pm, 3 days a week, 36 hours a week. There is opportunity to cover various shifts and pick up overtime if interested. This position qualifies for a $12,000 Sign on Bonus.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Assess and respond to medical needs of patients under the guidance of the physicians.
• Conduct safety checks and implement appropriate behavioral management techniques.
• Monitor, report, and document patient behaviors and overall well being.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as needed under the guidance of treatment team.
