Job summary

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN Psychiatric for a contract nursing role in London, Ohio. The position requires behavioral health licensure and a master’s degree in psychology or related field; employment type is Local Contract with 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts.

Pay range listed is per hour for a Behavioral Healthcare Provider 2 role, with start ASAP and a contract length of 13 weeks. RNs with mental health specialization or related board certifications are considered.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with Ohio Board of Nursing license required.
• Master's in psychology or related mental health field preferred.
• Master's in nursing with Psychiatric/Mental Health focus or related certification required.
• Appropriate Ohio licensure for social work, counseling, or therapy may be substituted.
• Behavioral health licensure options acceptable per Ohio boards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, implement, and provide interdisciplinary behavioral health services.
• Perform psychosocial interventions with clients within scope of practice.
• Conduct individual, family, or group counseling, testing, and education.
• Establish intervention goals and objectives to educate and resolve client issues.
• Participate in treatment system goals; coordinate referrals and follow-ups.

Education

Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) by Ohio Board of Nursing

Master's degree in psychology or related mental health field

Master's degree in nursing with a Mental Health/Psychiatric Concentration

Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (MFT) by Ohio Board

Licensed Social Worker (LSW) by Ohio Counselor, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy Board

Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) by Ohio Board

Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor II (LCDC II) by Ohio Board

Licensed Psychiatric Nursing certification
