Job summary

River Edge Behavioral Health in Macon, GA is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the Judiciary In-reach Program. Under supervision of the Nurse Practitioner, the RN provides direct nursing care by conducting patient assessments, administering and monitoring medications, collecting laboratory specimens, observing and reporting changes in patient condition, and maintaining medication control.

The role includes educating patients on symptoms and treatments, assisting with patient assistance

Qualifications

• Current Georgia nursing license in good standing.
• Minimum of one year of psychiatric experience.
• Must pass background clearance and pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Completes nursing assessments including nutrition and pain assessments.
• Administers and monitors medication regimens.
• Collects laboratory specimens and supports patient education.
• Observes and reports changes in patient condition.
• Maintains medication control and accurate documentation.
• Complies with River Edge policies, DBHDD requirements, and licensing standards.
