Job summary

River Edge Behavioral Health in Macon, GA seeks a full-time Clinician to support the Judiciary In-reach Program. Under supervision, you will conduct confidential behavioral health assessments, provide short- and ongoing counseling, and coordinate care for clients at Bibb County Jail.

You will develop solution-focused treatment plans, participate in individual and group sessions, and collaborate with jail staff to intervene in crises.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or related field (Required).
• Licensed or license-eligible (LAPC, LMSW, LAMFT) (Required).
• Fully licensed LMFT, LPC, or LCSW (Preferred).
• At least 1 year of post-master's experience in mental health and substance use treatment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of chronically mentally ill population.
• At least 1 year of case management experience in community and criminal justice settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct confidential behavioral health assessments and counseling for jail clients.
• Develop solution-focused treatment plans addressing goals and interventions.
• Participate in individual and group counseling; attend court proceedings if applicable.
• Collaborate with jail staff to intervene in crises.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and treatment plans.
