Job summary
Nulton Diagnostic & Treatment Center is seeking a full-time Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) to support the medical team at our Slatington, PA office. The role includes conducting psychiatric intakes for new patients and managing medication clinics alongside the psychiatry team.
The ideal candidate will hold an active PA RN license and have at least 6 months of psychiatry facility experience; mental health background is preferred. Clearance requirements (Act 33/34, FBI) must be attainable.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelor's Degree in psychology, social work, nursing, or related human services field.
- Current PA RN license in good standing.
- Minimum of 6 months experience in an inpatient or outpatient psychiatric facility.
- Mental health experience preferred.
- Must be able to obtain Act 33, Act 34 and FBI clearances.
Responsibilities
- Complete psychiatric intakes for all new patients.
- See patients individually in medication clinic and determine need for Psychiatrist evaluation.
- Respond to telephone messages from patients, families, or other providers.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
