Job summary

Nulton Diagnostic & Treatment Center in Slatington, PA is seeking a full-time Psychiatric RN to support our medical team. The RN will perform psychiatric intakes, conduct patient visits in the medication clinic, and help determine when psychiatric referral is needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, nursing or related human services field.
• Current PA RN license.
• At least 6 months experience in an inpatient or outpatient psychiatric facility.

Responsibilities

• Complete psychiatric intakes on new patients.
• See patients individually in medication clinic and determine need for Psychiatrist involvement.
• Return telephone messages from patients, families or other providers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Bachelor's Degree in psychology, social work, nursing, or other related human services field

Current License as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

Minimum of 6 months experience in an inpatient or outpatient psychiatric facility
