Qualifications

• BSN required for Staff Nurse position.
• Illinois RN license (Current State of Illinois Registered Professional Nurse)
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with others.
• Strong analytic abilities; evidence-based practice encouraged.
• ADN acceptable with commitment to obtain a BSN within three years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide care across the patient care continuum from admission to discharge.
• Assess patient status and identify care needs.
• Organize health data for accurate plan of care.
• Document diagnoses and plan of care.
• Initiate discharge planning with patient/family.
• Educate patients and families based on evidence-based practices.
