Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. seeks a Registered Nurse for day shifts at Austin Oaks Hospital. This position focuses on providing psychiatric care in a supportive environment. Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication management, and teamwork within an interdisciplinary treatment team. Candidates must be licensed in Texas and preferably have psychiatric nursing experience. Qualifications

• Licensed by the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas (or licensed in a compact state).
• One year of psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
• CPR and hospital de-escalation certifications to be obtained during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Implement and evaluate patient care on Adult/Adolescent/Geriatric units.
• Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Provide health education to patients and their families.
