UAB Medicine is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the REACT multidisciplinary psychiatric treatment team. In this role you will conduct psychiatric assessments, assess physical health, and coordinate referrals with community physicians.

You will participate in medication management with the psychiatrist and provide a range of treatment, rehabilitation, and support services, sharing shift management with teammates.

Qualifications

• RN license in Alabama; degree from an accredited RN program.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience; inpatient/outpatient psychiatric experience preferred.
• CPR certification required within 30 days of employment.

Responsabilités

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluate physical health needs.
• Make referrals to community physicians as appropriate.
• Assist with medication management in collaboration with the psychiatrist.
• Provide a range of treatment, rehabilitation, and support services.
• Share shift-management responsibilities with other staff.
