Job summary

Hampton Behavioral Health Center, part of Universal Health Services, seeks a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in a psychiatric setting. You will work under physician and treatment teams, performing safety checks and maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment.

The role requires NJ RN licensure, with BSN preferred, and 1 year psychiatric nursing (or 2 years medical/surgical with leadership). CPR is required; NLN accreditation and PMH certification are a plus.

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey RN licensure; BSN/BS preferred.
• Minimum 1 year psychiatric nursing experience, or 2 years medical/surgical experience with proven leadership, strong clinical skills, and high motivation.
• NLN-accredited program preferred.
• ANA Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing certification preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for our patients under the guidance of physicians and treatment teams.
• Conduct safety checks and implement appropriate behavioral management techniques.
• Maintain the hospital's core values and mission in daily practice.
