Crawford County Mental Health Center in Kansas seeks a compassionate psychiatric RN to join our Crisis Intervention Center (CC-CIC). The role provides nursing care, crisis intervention, and medication management for adults with acute psychiatric conditions.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to stabilize patients in a high-acuity setting, perform assessments, document care plans, and support treatment and discharge planning.

Competenze

• Active, unrestricted RN license in Kansas.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• Two years of RN experience preferred, with psychiatric/mental health/crisis intervention background.
• Experience with trauma-informed care and de-escalation required.
• BLS/CPR and First Aid certification current.
• Criminal history and background checks required.
• TB screening/testing documentation required.
• Ability to perform essential duties in a high-acuity setting.

Mansioni

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments on admission and throughout the stay.
• Monitor patient condition and response to treatment.
• Administer medications and prescribed treatments safely.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed.
• Maintain patient safety and implement safety plans.
• Document nursing assessments, care plans, progress notes, and interventions.
