Qualifications

• Graduated from an Accredited Nursing program.
• Current license to practice nursing in Louisiana or eligibility to receive/renew.
• Experience in a psychiatric inpatient setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes nursing assessment thoroughly and timely per facility guidelines.
• Communicates effectively with physicians and ensures orders are carried out.
• Documents treatment plan progress or need for additional intervention.
• Follows policy and involves leadership to resolve issues.
• Intervenes appropriately in crisis situations.
