Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and hold a CT RN license.
• CPR certification required upon hire and maintained.
• PMT training and de-escalation certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive assessments and reassessments of the patient's condition and care needs.
• Assesses and manages pain; educates patient and family on pain management.
• Develops and revises individualized treatment plans; involves patient and family in goals.
• Follows the five medication rights and reduces potential for medication errors.
• Documents nursing process and responses in a timely manner.
• Collaborates with treatment team to meet patient needs.
