Job summary

Friendship House is opening a new Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program in the Agencies Whole Person Care Center at 415 Biden Street, Scranton, PA. The program provides psychiatric rehabilitation services to adults 18+ in living wellness, learning, working and socializing.

Qualifications include a Bachelor degree or GED, at least two years in human services with one year in mental health direct care, and CPRP certification (or within the first year).

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or GED with relevant concentration.
• Two years’ work experience in human services, including one year of mental health direct care experience.
• One year of experience delivering community-based psychiatric rehabilitation services.
• Experience working with people with psychiatric disability, co-occurring disorders preferred.
• Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) certification required; or certification within first year of employment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree with academic concentration in an area relevant to the position;
• or, a minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D.
• Two (2) years’ work experience in human services, including one year of mental health direct care experience.
• One (1) year experience delivering community-based psychiatric rehabilitation services required.
• Experience working with people with psychiatric disability, co-occurring disorders preferred.
• Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) certification required;
• Or Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) certification within first (1st) year of employment required.
