Amergis is seeking a Psychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse to deliver comprehensive care across settings for individuals, families and communities. The role emphasizes safety, assessment, and coordination with a focus on mental health and substance use disorders.

The position requires current RN licensure and preference for psych experience; PMH-BC certification is valued. Travel assignments across Columbia/Salisbury, MD may be included and benefits are provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse Licensure in-state practicing.
• One year of psych experience preferred.
• PMH-BC certification preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

ThePsychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse, requires a wide range of nursing,psychosocial, and neurobiological expertise. PMH nurses promote well-beingthrough prevention and education, in addition to the assessment, diagnosis, andtreatment of mental health and substance use disorders. The Psychiatric/Mental Health RegisteredNurse, demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective andefficient manner and demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability inthe coordination of patient care. ThePsychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse, works in a variety of settings andprovides comprehensive care to individuals, families, and communities whenapplicable.
