Qualifications

• RN license in New York State with current registration.
• At least one year of post-licensure nursing experience in mental health or developmental disabilities.
• Active NYS RN license and registration required; additional behavioral health training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric and medical nursing assessments.
• Administer and manage medications; monitor effects and side effects.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other providers.
• Lead education for clients and families on health and wellness.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support treatment planning.
• Support crisis intervention and risk management within the care plan.
• Ensure cultural and linguistic considerations are reflected in nursing plans.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
