Job summary

Cedar Springs Hospital in Colorado provides acute care and residential programs for patients with mental illness or substance use disorders. This registered nursing role coordinates patient care, implements treatment plans, and supports a safe, therapeutic environment under the guidance of the Treatment Team and physicians.

The ideal candidate will be a Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, CPR certified, and licensed in Colorado or hold a compact license.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of nursing care and interventions for psychiatric patients.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to direct others and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise direct patient care and program implementation.
• Assess patient needs and ensure delivery of quality nursing care as prescribed by the Treatment Team/Physician.
• Provide safety and crisis management to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.
