Hourly Rate: $20.00

Position Summary

Sea Mar Behavioral Health’s diverse and quickly expanding program is seeking a full‑time Psychiatric Provider Aide for our Behavioral Health Department in Lynnwood, Washington. The Psychiatric Provider Aide supports psychiatric prescribers in both administrative and clinical areas and works with mental health therapists and chemical dependency professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity for clients.

Responsibilities

• Supports psychiatric prescribers in administrative and clinical areas.
• Coordinates care with mental health therapists and chemical dependency professionals to ensure continuity of client care.
• Provides screenings and case management in collaboration with other teams or parties involved in treatment.
• Ensures agency compliance with WACs, RCWs, and other pertinent laws and regulations.
• Prepares charts, prescription refill requests, and other necessary paperwork for prescribers ahead of time.
• Maintains medication storage, dispensation, and waste logs in accordance with Sea Mar policies.
• Reports any area of non‑compliance to the supervisor or manager.
• Follows all medical, nursing, health‑safety, and personnel policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license from Washington State.
• Must possess a current CPR/BLS card or obtain one within 90 days of employment.
• Must have a current First Aid certificate.
• Must have minimum qualifications of CNA, MA, EMT, LPN, or RN.
• Must have an active Washington State Department of Health license.
• Basic mathematical skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and converting units (e.g., pounds to kilograms).
• Must have no history of alcohol or other drug misuse in the three years immediately prior to hiring.
• Washington State driver’s license required.
• Familiarity with computer software desired.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required.
• Must be able to pass a background screening.
