Job summary

The Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) invites applications for a Pharmacy Practice Faculty member in the Doctor of Pharmacy program. This full-time, twelve-month, non-tenure track position includes a clinical practice with precepting final year students, with a preferred focus on psychiatric pharmacy.

The selected faculty will contribute to teaching across campus and online pathways, develop courses and educational tools, participate in accreditation, committees, and scholarly

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree with residency, fellowship, or equivalent experience required.
• PA licensure or eligibility expected (Pennsylvania).
• Prior teaching experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach students at the local campus and online pathways.
• Coordinate courses and prepare educational tools (A/V, lectures, lesson plans).
• Prepare demonstrations, lectures, small group discussions, and select readings across pathways.
• Develop and implement policies for online course delivery and pedagogy.
• Contribute to planning and administration of the School of Pharmacy.
• Interview prospective candidates for the School of Pharmacy.
• Advise and mentor assigned students; support student clubs.
• Serve on committees and contribute to scholarly activities.
• Assist with accreditation and other administrative functions.
• Be available for work during scheduled instruction hours.
• Collaborate with other faculty and staff and communicate across offices.
