Job summary

Prosperous Health Lake Hughes is seeking a compassionate Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join a growing behavioral health platform. You will collaborate with psychiatrists, PMHNPs, and nursing leadership to provide psychiatric assessments, medication management, and ongoing clinical support across inpatient and outpatient services.

The role focuses on delivering integrated behavioral health and medical services, including TMS and telehealth, at a newly developed 104-bed campus in Lake Hughes, CA.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current California Physician Assistant License in good standing.
• Current NCCPA Certification.
• Current DEA Registration (or ability to obtain).
• Current BLS Certification.
• Ability to pass credentialing, background screening and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric and medical assessments under physician supervision as required.
• Evaluate patients with mental health disorders and co-occurring conditions.
• Monitor treatment response and clinical stability; participate in care planning.
• Assist with psychiatric medication management and MAT protocols.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and PMHNPs regarding treatment adjustments.
• Support discharge planning and continuity of care.
