Job summary

ProHealth Partners in Century City is seeking a Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive psychiatric care with a mix of in-person and remote work. The role offers $65-$80 per hour, Mon-Fri hours, and a 1-day-in-office requirement.

Qualifications

• DEA License and BLS/ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care under physician supervision for psychiatric conditions.
• Perform psychiatric evaluations and ongoing assessments.
• Develop and adjust treatment plans including medication management.
• Coordinate referrals and psychiatric consultations with interdisciplinary teams.
• Document encounters and progress notes in compliance with standards.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests relevant to mental health.

ProHealth Partners is an established multi-specialty physician group and has been providing care to patients over the last 30 years. Our network includes over 250+ physicians in over 100+ clinics throughout the greater Long Beach, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire areas.

Job Type: Part-time/Full-time, Direct hire

Location: Century City (Remote 1-day in Office)

Pay: $65-80 per hour

Hours: Mon-Fri

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care under the supervision of a physician, with a focus on both acute and chronic mental health conditions
• Perform psychiatric evaluations, mental status exams, and ongoing assessments for patients with a variety of psychiatric disorders
• Develop, manage, and adjust individualized treatment plans, including medication management and therapeutic interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate referrals, psychological testing, and psychiatric consultations
• Accurately document patient encounters, progress notes, and treatment updates in compliance with regulatory standards
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., labs, screenings) relevant to mental health and age-specific needs

Requirements

• Graduate from a Physician's Assistant Program with 2 plus years of experience
• Bilingual Spanish fluency a plus but not required
• 2 years experience in Psychiatry or related field
• DEA License
• Basic Life Support (BLS/ACLS)
