Centerstone in Springfield, MO, seeks a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide mental health evaluations, diagnoses, prescriptive treatment, and ongoing management for adult clients. The role involves collaboration with a Staff Psychiatrist within a comprehensive care team, including telemedicine services and a robust benefits package.

The ideal candidate holds an MSN as an Adult Psychiatric NP with national certification and Missouri licensure, and has experience in behavioral health

Qualifications

• Must possess a Master's degree in nursing as an Adult Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
• Certification as an Adult Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner by a national certifying body is required.

Responsabilités

• Perform client assessment and diagnosis for adult clients and develop a treatment plan.
• Complete a psychiatric assessment including health history and diagnostics.
• Provide psychiatric diagnosis based on DSM multiaxial system.
• Prescribe psychotropic medications as delegated by supervising psychiatrist.
• Coordinate comprehensive follow-up for all clients.
