Job summary

CenterPointe Hospital, part of Acadia Healthcare, in Missouri seeks a Full Time Experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide psychiatric evaluations and treatment under the Medical Director. You will collaborate with medical staff to ensure care aligns with licensure and state guidelines.

You will manage treatment plans, participate in on-call coverage, and support health promotion while prioritizing patient safety and family involvement in care.

Qualifications

• Master's in Nursing, Nurse Practitioner program required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Practicing Nurse Practitioner required.
• Experience in addiction highly preferred.
• Licensed to practice in the state where the facility operates.
• Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner required.
• DEA license is required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illness, independently or as part of a healthcare team.
• Provide psychiatric evaluations and treatment under the Medical Director.
• Formulate and monitor Master Treatment Plan for patients.
• Coordinate with physicians and staff to ensure quality care.
• Respond to on-call needs and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Promote patient safety and involve families in care when appropriate.
