Job summary

Transitions Counseling and Consulting is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide remote psychiatry and medication management for adolescents and adults in Arizona. The role offers flexible scheduling and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifying candidates must hold an AZ PMHNP license, be in good standing, and have an AZ DEA license to credential. Prior independent practice and fingerprint clearance are preferred.

Qualifications

• Arizona PMHNP must be licensed in good standing.
• Current Arizona DEA license required to initiate credentialing.
• 1–2 years of independent clinical experience with adolescents and adults preferred.
• Fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona DPS.
• Maintain malpractice liability coverage if contracted.

Responsibilities

• Conduct telehealth psychiatric evaluations and manage medications for adolescents and adults.
• Order and assess laboratory and diagnostic tests as needed for comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain high-quality care standards per organizational policies and accrediting standards.
• Collaborate with a diverse treatment team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Utilize an integrated EHR system for scheduling, documentation, prescription management (including EPCS), and lab orders.
• Enjoy a schedule without on-call responsibilities with team support for scheduling and billing.

Your Role

Qualifications

• Continuously licensed in good standing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in the State of Arizona.
• Must have current Arizona DEA license to initiate credentialing.
• 1-2 years of independent clinical experience treating adolescents and adults preferred.
• Provide current fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety and renew as applicable, ensuring continuous coverage.
• Continuously maintain malpractice liability coverage if contracted.
