Transitions Counseling and Consulting seeks a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for a remote role to provide psychiatry/medication management for adolescents and adults via telehealth. You will order and assess labs, maintain high care standards, and collaborate with a diverse team to optimize outcomes.

The position offers a flexible 4–5 day schedule, a competitive salary of $115,000 to $123,000 per year, and bonuses, plus comprehensive health, dental/vision, retirement, and wellness

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Arizona.
• Current Arizona DEA license to initiate credentialing.
• 1–2 years of independent clinical experience with adolescents and adults preferred.
• Fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona DPS.
• Maintain malpractice liability coverage if contracted.

Responsibilities

• Conduct telehealth psychiatric evaluations and manage medication for adolescents and adults.
• Order and assess laboratory and diagnostic tests as needed.
• Maintain high-quality care standards per policies and accrediting standards.
• Collaborate with a diverse treatment team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Use an integrated EHR system for scheduling, documentation, prescriptions, and labs.
• Schedule and billing support without on-call responsibilities.

Your Role

• Conduct telehealth psychiatric evaluations and manage medication for adolescents and adults with mental health issues.
• Order and assess laboratory and diagnostic tests as needed for comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain high-quality care standards in alignment with organizational policies, procedures, and accrediting standards.
• Collaborate effectively with a diverse treatment team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Utilize an integrated EHR system for scheduling, documentation, prescription management (including EPCS), and lab orders.
• Enjoy a schedule without on-call responsibilities, with team support for scheduling and billing management.

Qualifications

• Continuously licensed in good standing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in the State of Arizona.
• Must have current Arizona DEA license to initiate credentialing.
• 1-2 years of independent clinical experience treating adolescents and adults preferred.
• Provide current fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety and renew as applicable, ensuring continuous coverage.
• Continuously maintain malpractice liability coverage if contracted.
