Qualifications

• Experience in psychiatric diagnosis and medication management (Correctional experience preferred).
• Must hold an active Controlled Substance Registration/License/Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, diagnosing, and treating psychiatric conditions.
• Prescribing and managing psychotropic medications.
• Ordering diagnostic tests and interpreting lab results.
• Providing education and counseling to patients.
• Developing individualized treatment plans.
• Documenting all clinical activity using the SOAP format.
