Job summary

NPHire is seeking a PMHNP for a hybrid clinical role serving Maryland locations. Your clinical time is supported by dedicated admin, billing, credentialing, and prior authorization teams to handle administrative tasks.

The role includes a broad diagnostic scope across children, adolescents, and adults, with TMS and KAP available. Suboxone prescribing is required, and a minimum of 3 years PMHNP experience is expected. Maryland APRN license and DEA enrollment are required.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland APRN license and active DEA enrollment.
• PMHNP certification required.
• Minimum 3 years psychiatric NP experience.
• Suboxone prescribing experience required.
• Standard DSM scope of psychiatric experience required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and establish individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications monitoring effectiveness, side effects, and progress.
• Manage anxiety, ADHD, ASD, depression, bipolar, PTSD, schizophrenia, personality disorders, and substance use disorders.
• Assess suicide risk and coordinate appropriate levels of care.
• Prescribe Suboxone for patients with substance use disorders as clinically indicated.
• Provide patient and family education on mental health conditions and medications.
• Maintain timely EMR documentation and coordinate with multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in case discussions, staff meetings, and quality improvement.

A growing outpatient psychiatric practice with 90+ clinicians across five Maryland locations is hiring a PMHNP for a hybrid role where your time stays clinical — supported by a dedicated admin, billing, credentialing, and prior auth team that handles everything else. Schedule & Compensation

• $140,000–$155,000/year
• Full-time | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM–6:00 PM window
