Job summary

NPHire is seeking a PMHNP to join our established Maryland practice spanning five locations: Baltimore, Bethesda, Columbia, Hunt Valley, and Frederick. This role is primarily telehealth with at least two onsite days weekly, and no on-call obligations.

The candidate will provide comprehensive evaluations, prescribe and adjust psychotropic medications, and coordinate care across a wide range of disorders with support from a dedicated admin team.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland APRN license and active DEA enrollment required.
• PMHNP certification required.
• Minimum 3 years psychiatric NP experience required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and establish individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications; monitor effectiveness, side effects and progress.
• Manage anxiety, ADHD, ASD, depression, bipolar, PTSD, schizophrenia, personality disorders, and substance use disorders.

Job description

A well-established outpatient psychiatric practice with over 90 clinicians and 10+ years serving Maryland is hiring a PMHNP across five locations - Baltimore, Bethesda, Columbia, Hunt Valley, and Frederick. Broad diagnostic scope across children, adolescents, and adults. TMS and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy on the treatment menu. Minimum 2 days onsite per week, rest telehealth, no call. Dedicated admin, billing, prior auth, and credentialing support. Established referral base - no marketing or panel building required. Suboxone prescribing experience required. Minimum 3 years of psychiatric NP experience required.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and establish individualized treatment plans
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications monitoring effectiveness, side effects, and progress
• Manage anxiety, ADHD, ASD, depression, bipolar, PTSD, schizophrenia, personality disorders, and substance use disorders
• Assess suicide risk and coordinate appropriate levels of care
• Prescribe Suboxone for patients with substance use disorders as clinically indicated
• Provide patient and family education on mental health conditions and medications
• Maintain timely EMR documentation and coordinate with multidisciplinary team
• Participate in case discussions, staff meetings, and quality improvement

• Standard DSM scope of psychiatric experience required

Schedule & Compensation

• $140,000-$155,000/year
• Full-time | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM-6:00 PM window
