evolvedMD is seeking a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to deliver comprehensive psychiatric care, including assessment, diagnosis, and medication management, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The role offers remote work with an option to be based at our Scottsdale, Arizona headquarters. First-year compensation ranges from $125,000 to $150,000, plus a 20% performance bonus, a $1,200 technology allowance, and 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Licensed PMHNP with active license in Arizona.
• Board-certified by ANCC as PMHNP.
• Active DEA license with prescribing eligibility.
• Minimum 1 year direct psychiatric care experience (3+ preferred).
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
• Experience with adult and youth populations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide medication management and adjustments as needed.
• Collaborate with primary care and behavioral health teams.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment based on outcomes.
• Participate in case reviews and care-team meetings.
• Educate providers on psychopharmacology and behavioral health management.
• Document accurately in EHR and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain state and federal compliance; some in-person travel may occur.

ThePsychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) plays a key role in providing comprehensive psychiatric care to patients through assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management. This position works in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including primary care providers, behavioral health clinicians, and other healthcare professionals, to deliver high-quality, patient-centered mental health services.

Location

Our Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner role is remote; however, the option of being based at evolvedMD’s corporate headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona is available.

Compensation (based on 40 hours per week)

• First-year compensation $125,000 to $150,000 annually (DOE)
• Metric-driven bonus up to 20% annually
• $1200 annual technology allowance
• 401(k) with up to 3% company match

About You

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with an active, unrestricted license in Arizona (may be required to obtain a medical license in other states as necessary)
• Board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
• Active DEA license and eligibility to prescribe psychiatric medications.
• At least 1 year of experience in direct psychiatric patient care (preferred: 3+ years).
• Bilingual Spanish/English speaking is highly preferred.
• Experience working with both adult and youth populations.
• Strong clinical skills in psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and treatment planning.
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including primary care providers, social workers, and therapists.
• Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) documentation and telehealth services (if applicable).
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to educate patients, families, and care teams.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and adherence to ethical and legal standards in mental health care.

About the job

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with behavioral health disorders.
• Provide medication management, including prescribing, adjusting, and discontinuing psychotropic medications as appropriate.
• Collaborate with behavioral health clinicians and primary care providers to support integrated care.
• Monitor and track patient progress, adjusting treatment as needed based on clinical outcomes.
• Participate in case reviews and contribute to care team meetings to discuss complex cases and optimize treatment strategies.
• Provide education and consultation to healthcare providers regarding psychopharmacology and behavioral health management.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal laws, insurance requirements, and professional credentialing requirements.
• In-person travel may be necessary at times for team gatherings, trainings or onsite consultation with primary care facilities.
