Job summary

The Nexus Group, PC is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing care for children, adolescents, and adults in an outpatient setting. Join a collaborative team focused on whole-person, evidence-based treatment and innovative therapies.

Onsite onboarding is followed by a hybrid schedule with 2–3 onsite days per week. We offer mentorship for new graduates and growth opportunities in a growing practice with access

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Nursing.
• Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
• Active Pennsylvania license (or ability to obtain).
• DEA license (or ability to obtain).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
• Commitment to evidence-based psychiatric treatment.
• Desire to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations.
• Diagnose and treat a broad range of psychiatric disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide medication management and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and clinical staff.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation.
• Participate in collaborative treatment planning.
• Learn and support innovative treatment modalities, including TMS and SPRAVATO®.

Position Overview

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, you'll provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing treatment for children, adolescents, and adults in an outpatient setting.

You'll become part of a collaborative team that values clinical excellence, professional growth, and providing patients with personalized treatment plans that improve lives.

Work Schedule

To ensure a successful onboarding experience and strong clinical collaboration:

• First 90 Days: Onsite Monday–Friday
• After Successful Onboarding: Transition to a hybrid schedule of 2–3 onsite days per week, based on clinical needs and provider performance
