Job summary

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for full-time, outpatient care. The RN-leaning NP will conduct assessments across ages, manage medications, and coordinate with a team of psychiatrists and therapists.

The ideal candidate holds a graduate NP degree with PMHNP licensure and has experience in psychiatric/behavioral health, including outpatient and telepsychiatry, with willingness to travel within the service area.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• PMHNP license required.
• Experience in psychiatric, mental and behavioral health services.
• Outpatient and tele-psychiatry experience is preferred.
• Willingness to work with a variety of ages including children/adolescents.
• Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.

Responsibilities

• Perform face-to-face assessments and ongoing psychiatric visits with clients of all ages including children, adolescents and adults.
• Maintain current patient records clearly stating problems, plans, actions, goals and changes as they occur.
• Instruct client caregivers.
• Manage client medications.
