Harbor Health Services in Hyannis seeks a compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to coordinate psychiatric services with the Behavioral Health Director and Psychiatrist and to provide direct patient care for adults with mental health or substance use disorders.
The role emphasizes evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and leadership in staff training, utilization review, and collaboration with SUD teams. MA NP license and BLS required, with 5+ years prescribing psychotropic meds.

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner coordinates psychiatric services with the Behavioral Health Director and Psychiatrist as well as provides direct services to patients with mental health issues, substance abuse disorders and dual diagnosis. Duties include but are not limited to evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric conditions; issuing prescriptions and maintenance of all clients on psychotropic medication; and assumes leadership role in case conferences and in-service training of staff and actively participates in peer and utilization review.
