Job summary

Provive Wellness in Scranton, PA seeks a licensed PMHNP-BC or PA-C to join our clinic on a part-time, flexible basis. You will provide direct psychiatric care to patients navigating substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health conditions.

You will conduct evaluations, manage follow-ups, provide medication management including MAT (buprenorphine), and collaborate with therapists and staff to deliver integrated, whole-person care.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted PMHNP-BC (ANCC) or PA-C (NCCPA) certification and PA licensure.
• Current DEA registration with Schedule II–V authority.
• Experience in psychiatry, addiction medicine, or SUD treatment preferred; strong new grads welcome.
• Genuine interest in behavioral health and helping patients through recovery.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessment.
• Manage a caseload of follow-up visits and adjust care plans as needed.
• Provide ongoing medication management for psychiatric and co-occurring conditions.
• Prescribe and manage Medication‑Assisted Treatment (MAT), including buprenorphine.
• Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and medical staff for integrated care.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
• Support other clinical duties to serve patients and the care team.

The Role

We're looking for a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our Scranton clinic on a part-time, flexible basis. You'll provide direct psychiatric care to patients navigating substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health conditions, working alongside a supportive, collaborative clinical team.

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for new patients, including diagnostic assessment and treatment planning
• Manage a caseload of follow-up visits, monitoring progress and adjusting care plans as needed
• Provide ongoing medication management for psychiatric and co-occurring conditions
• Prescribe and manage Medication‑Assisted Treatment (MAT), including buprenorphine, for patients with opioid use disorder
• Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and medical staff to deliver integrated, whole‑person care
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
• Support other clinical duties as needed to serve patients and the care team

What We're Looking For

• Active, unrestricted PMHNP-BC (ANCC) or PA‑C (NCCPA) certification, with current PA licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
• Current DEA registration with Schedule II–V authority
