Job summary

VitalCore Health Strategies (VCHS) seeks a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Woodland Correctional Center team in Whitmore Lake, Michigan. The role offers full-time hours and a comprehensive benefits package.

The provider will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver individualized psychiatric care within a correctional setting. The position requires an active Nurse Practitioner license, strong leadership and communication skills, and 3–5 years of behavioral

Qualifications

Licensed Nurse Practitioner in the state of employment (required).
Clinical leadership abilities including decision-making and problem-solving.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a behavioral health/correctional setting.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive psychiatric care to a diverse patient population.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, medical doctors, and correctional staff.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing complex mental health needs.
