Job summary

Day Kimball Health in Putnam, CT is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to join its Inpatient Behavioral Health department. This full-time, exempt role offers 40 hours per week on a day shift (8:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.) with a collaborative team approach to patient care.

The APRN will assess, manage, and prescribe therapies, coordinating with physicians as needed. Requirements include ANCC PMH-NP certification, CT APRN licensure, and DEA registration.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience as Nurse Practitioner.
• Master’s Degree in Nursing required if licensed after 1999.
• ANCC Certification as Psychiatric-Mental Health-NP required.
• Current Federal DEA and State CS Licenses required.
• Connecticut State RN/APRN Licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, manage, prescribe, and evaluate therapeutic interventions per standards of practice.
• Consult with primary care or other health care professionals when needed to coordinate care.
