Day Kimball Health in Putnam, CT is seeking a Clinical Coordinator (RN) for the Inpatient Behavioral Health unit on the Evening Shift (3p–11p). The role oversees daily nursing operations, leads staff, and ensures high-quality patient care consistent with policies and regulatory standards.

You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize workflow, maintain a patient-centered approach, and adapt to changing workloads while supporting education and staff development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Connecticut.
• CPR certification or equivalent within 3 months of hire.
• BSN in nursing or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical operations to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Provide leadership to nursing staff and coordinate patient care activities.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize workflow and outcomes.
• Apply critical thinking to establish priorities in patient care and staffing.
• Delegate tasks based on team capabilities and efficiency.
• Support nursing policies and act as change agent when procedures update.
