Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare, a national leader in behavioral health, seeks a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) for its Outpatient SUD and Mental Health Treatment Center in Pittsburgh, PA. This on-site, part-time role focuses on psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and collaborative care within an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania CRNP license required.
• DEA registration required or eligible.
• PMHNP board certification preferred.
• Minimum of two years in psychiatric/behavioral health or SUD treatment preferred.
• Experience with psychiatric medication management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and reassessments with thorough clinical documentation.
• Provide medication management, including prescribing and monitoring psychotropic meds.
• Diagnose and treat psychiatric conditions, SUD, and co-occurring disorders.
• Review labs, monitor levels, and support med management.
• Coordinate care with psychiatrists, PCPs, specialists, and therapists.
• Support discharge planning and continuity of care.
• Educate and support staff on psychiatric and medication-related concerns.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain CARF-compliant documentation and meet regulatory requirements.
