Job summary

Geode Health of Texas, PLLC is seeking Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners for full and part-time roles. The clinicians will provide psychiatric care, conduct evaluations, and follow-ups, and work closely with a supervising physician to optimize patient outcomes.

Candidates must be PMHNP certified and licensed, with experience treating adults and/or children/adolescents. Excellent communication and confidentiality are essential, with flexible scheduling and a supportive clinical team.

Qualifications

• Must hold PMHNP certification and be licensed to practice.
• Experience treating adults and/or children/adolescents.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric care, including evaluations, follow-ups, and urgent consultations.
• Document and navigate EHR independently.
• Maintain client confidentiality and comply with privacy requirements.
• Create individualized treatment plans with the care team after reviewing patient data.
• Evaluate need for higher level of care, including hospitalization.
• Educate patients on medications, adherence, and aftercare services.
• Collaborate with supervising physician to improve patient outcomes.
• Diagnose and treat patients from diverse backgrounds with respect.
• Coordinate with leadership, billing, and compliance for accurate documentation.
