Unicare Community Health Center is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our behavioral health team. The NP will diagnose mental illnesses, prescribe medications, and coordinate care with psychiatrists and primary care providers in an outpatient setting.

The ideal candidate is licensed in California, board-certified in advanced practice nursing, and experienced with adults, adolescents, and children. Evening and weekend hours may be required as part of a flexible clinic schedule.

Qualifikationen

• Must hold California RN license and CA DEA registration.
• MSN from an accredited NP program; board certified.
• Licensed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in California.
• Experience in behavioral health in outpatient settings preferred.

Aufgaben

• Experience assessing and providing medical services to patients with behavioral health disorders in a psychiatric or primary care setting.
• Experience with adults, adolescents, and children.
• Collaborate and work under the supervision of the Director of Behavioral Health and the psychiatrist.
• Diagnose mental illnesses and prescribe medications.
• Participate in quarterly providers meeting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
