Job summary

Community Health Centers is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient team. The role includes evaluating, diagnosing and monitoring patients, counseling, prescribing medications, and coordinating with primary care and social work to support behavioral health needs.

The position requires an active Florida license, BLS, and certification eligibility with ANCC or AANP. DEA license is preferred, with flexibility and team-based collaboration at the core of daily practice.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing or post-master's certification required.
• Active Florida RN license required with ANCC and/or AANP certification or eligibility.
• BLS certification required; DEA license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient psychiatric care including evaluation, monitoring and diagnosis.
• Counsel patients and write prescriptions; monitor progress and adjust plans.
• Collaborate with primary physicians, social workers and case managers as needed to support behavioral health.
