Psychology / Mental Health Provider Opportunity in Norfolk, NE
Work Status Details: Full Time, 80 hours every two weeks
Shift Details: M-F
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates ability to modify approach and procedures to meet the needs of a diverse age population, including Pediatric/Children (1-12 years) and Adolescents (12-18 years).
- Incorporates cultural considerations in care provisions.
- Possesses knowledge of growth and developmental stages.
- Considers life changes and their effects on health beliefs and behaviors.
- Provides necessary safety measures.
- Involves family/caregivers in decision-making processes.
- Performs all duties required by the Behavioral Health Department, addressing the unique needs of each patient, including age-specific considerations.
- Provides evidence-based therapeutic treatment, utilizing counseling techniques to address thoughts, feelings, and behaviors related to mental or emotional disorders.
- Conducts assessments, diagnoses mental health disorders, and develops personalized treatment plans.
- Documents assessments, treatment plans, referrals, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately.
- Maintains communication with referral sources to ensure continuity of care.
- Participates in conferences, staff meetings, and committees to improve clinical outcomes.
- Engages in ongoing professional development through seminars and continuing education.
- Collaborates with other clinicians and team members regarding individual care plans.
Hours depend on patient census and workload; this is a 40-hour week position.

Job Requirements:
- Master's Degree required.
- Current Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP), Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (LMHP), or Provisional Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (PLMHP) in Nebraska required.
- Previous clinical and healthcare experience preferred.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English required.
