Job description

We are currently seeking enthusiastic board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrists and addiction medicine specialists to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to facilitate care for individuals who have sustained catastrophic work-related injuries, often complicated by co-occurring mental health conditions. You will have the chance to make a positive impact on the medical and mental health recovery journey of injured workers, working remotely with flexible hours.

Details:
  1. Scope of injuries: Catastrophic work-related injuries including musculoskeletal injuries, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, burn injuries, amputations, and polytrauma.
  2. Scope of co-occurring mental health conditions: Anxiety, depression, acute stress/post-traumatic stress disorder, substance use.
  3. Acuity: Acute, subacute, non-acute.
  4. Create, review, and oversee the implementation of care coordination plans for injured workers, consistent with evidence-based practices.
  5. Present care plans to clients and clinical staff.
  6. Communicate with providers regarding injured workers, participating in peer-to-peer discussions and multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.
  7. Work directly with a care coordinator nurse who will assist with care planning and coordination.
  8. This is a consultant position with competitive compensation, offering hourly pay.
  9. Work remotely with flexible hours.
