Job description

Behavioral Health Care of Health System offers inpatient services for adults. Outpatient mental health services are available for children aged four and older, adolescents, and adults. Our staff includes psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, recreational and occupational therapists, and case managers. We provide a team approach to mental wellness. This well-established program is part of the 6th largest Health System in the State and serves as a regional referral center with clinical affiliations with Cleveland Clinic, Duke University Medical Center, and UNC Health Care.

Typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, with no holidays, consisting of 10-hour shifts. The role involves completing requests for inpatient consults at the Medical Center and may include seeing patients at the inpatient Behavioral Hospital. The position may also provide ED relief due to volume. Willingness to work as a team member is required.

Standard hours are typically Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. The role may require accepting limited inpatient call for emergency situations. The facility offers private office space onsite with a trained medical assistant and a dedicated waiting room. Patient records are accessible online through the physicians' Internet link.

Adolescent / Child - Outpatient

This position also typically operates Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with a team-oriented approach and potential limited inpatient emergency call duties. The clinic provides private office space, a trained medical assistant, and an accessible online record system.

Compensation includes a guaranteed base salary, productivity incentives, quality bonus plans, and a benefits package that covers professional liability, health, dental, retirement, disability, CME, and 280 hours of paid time off annually, plus a relocation allowance.
