Position Details

Full-time, permanent, employed position with no call and no weekends. Responsibilities include providing adult psychiatry services (age 18+) in an outpatient clinic setting, with the option to see patients under age 18 if desired. Conduct nursing home rounds 1-2 times per month. The department does not provide after-hours call coverage to the hospital or ED, but offers ED and inpatient consultations upon limited request. The local crises team supports ED patients. Outreach opportunities are available at other clinics within daytime driving distance. Telemedicine services may be implemented in the future for outpatient care. Appointment times include 20-30 minutes for med checks and rechecks, and 60 minutes for new patients.
