Growing behavioral health practice seeking to add a psychiatrist practitioner.

Requirements: Active Texas license, DEA, DPS Texas license, malpractice insurance.

Position Title: Psychiatrist

Responsibilities include seeing new patients, supervising PMHNPs, and prescribing medications, including controlled substances. Outpatient setting with a multidisciplinary team including NPs, psychologists, and counselors.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient treatment two days a week or half-days.
• Supervise Nurse Practitioners.
• Prescribe medications, including controlled substances, with secure EHR token management.
• Document all patient interactions thoroughly in the EMR.
