Located in Bradenton, FL
Full-Time & Permanent
Seeking a BE/BC Psychiatrist to join a behavioral health facility in Florida.

Duties:

1. Conduct psychiatric evaluations for referred clients to meet clinical and/or administrative requirements and perform psychiatric disability determination evaluations (SSI), preparing required reports.
2. Evaluate clients for medication management, prescribe medication when appropriate, and perform/document AIMS evaluations at least every six months when indicated.
3. Review and sign treatment plans, reviews, and other documents for assigned clients as required by regulations or third-party insurers.
4. Initiate Baker Act involuntary treatment documents and facilitate admission to inpatient facilities when indicated.
5. Provide consultation to staff regarding diagnosis, treatment, program development, and referrals.
6. Provide staff training as mutually agreed and supervise residents, medical students, ARNPs, and PAs.
7. Review medical histories, physical exams, and diagnostic reports; refer clients for follow-up care when needed.
8. Consult with other physicians and clinical staff to facilitate effective client care.
