Job summary

Active Path Mental Health is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide direct patient care including TMS therapy, medication management, and Spravato at Salem or NW Portland clinics. The PMHNP will lead a team of clinicians, collaborate with leadership to grow patient volume, and apply up-to-date mental health treatments.

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s in Nursing with a psychiatric focus, PMHNP credentialing in Oregon (Washington preferred),

Qualifications

• Masters in Nursing with focus in psychiatric health.
• PMHNP license/credentialing in Oregon (required) and Washington preferred.
• 3 years of behavioral health experience preferred.
• 3 years of psychiatry experience preferred.
• Experience with TMS administration or certification during initial period.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations.
• Develop patient treatment plans using evidence-based guidelines.
• Cultivate therapeutic relationships with patients.
• Monitor patient outcomes using patient feedback.
• Ensure accurate charting and billing with EHR/EMR."
• Collaborate with referring physicians and senior clinical staff.

We are looking for an experiencedPsychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)who brings respect, empathy, and kindness to our patients. This individual is responsible for direct patient care of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy, Medication Management, and Spravato at our Salem or NW Portland clinics, while working with our executive team to drive new patient growth for APMH.

The provider will be patient-focused,enthusiastic about leading a team of clinicians, and willing to learn and apply the most up-to-date mental health treatment modalities.

You will be responsible for:

• The application of psychotherapy expertise by performing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations.


• Developing patient treatment plans using evidence based guidelines and protocols.


• Cultivating positive therapeutic relationships with patients.


• Utilizing patient feedback to monitor, and continuously improve, patient outcomes.


• Simplifying workflow with our EHR to provide timely and accurate charting, and appropriate billing codes for all encounters.


• Collaborating with referring physicians and providers to provide timely updates on patient progress throughout treatment.


• Collaborating with the Chief Medical Officer and clinical staff to review treatment plans weekly.


• Leading by example, holding yourself and others accountable for delivering high-quality work on time, consistently meeting deadlines, and upholding professional standards.


• Fostering a culture of resilience and ownership, encouraging the team to take initiative, think critically, and find solutions to complex problems.


• Other duties, as assigned.

You will be successful, if:

• You possess a Masters degree in Nursing with a focus in psychiatric health.


• You are registered as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with credentialing in Oregon, required and Washington, preferred.


• Three years of behavioral health, preferred.


• Three years of psychiatry experience, preferred.


• Experience administering TMS, preferred. Alternatively, successful completion of TMS certification based on initial training, provided during the initial period of employment.Demonstrated proficiency in EHR/EMR recordkeeping.


• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively.


• The ability to work in a dynamic, high-demand, fast paced environment.


• A demonstrated attention to organization and details.


• Excellent communication skills, including listening, speaking, and writing.


• Demonstrated professionalism and the ability to maintain patient and clinic confidentiality.


• You are able to maintain a professional, clinical appearance and demeanor with patients.


• You have demonstrated the ability to work in a high-demand, fast paced environment.


• You are able to work both independently and collaboratively.


• You’re a self-starter with strong attention to detail.


• You have the ability to bring organizational skills to the clinical environment.


• You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including listening and speaking, to reassure and guide patients.


• You are able to demonstrate professionalism and the ability to maintain patient and clinic confidentiality.


• You have demonstrated experience working with patients in a behavioral health setting.


• You are experienced working with patients who suffer from depression and anxiety, preferred.
