Job summary

Active Path Mental Health in Salem is seeking a PMHNP to provide direct care including TMS therapy, medication management, and Spravato, while leading a clinical team.

The successful candidate will perform psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, and coordinate with physicians; strong EHR skills and patient confidentiality are required.

Oregon credentialing preferred; 3+ years in behavioral health and psychiatry desirable; practice is dynamic and fast-paced.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Nursing with a focus in psychiatric health.
• PMHNP license with Oregon credentialing; Washington preferred.
• Three years of behavioral health experience preferred.
• Three years of psychiatry experience preferred.
• Experience administering TMS or TMS certification during initial period.
• Demonstrated proficiency in EHR/EMR recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

• The application of psychotherapy expertise by performing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations.
• Developing patient treatment plans using evidence based guidelines and protocols.
• Cultivating positive therapeutic relationships with patients.
• Utilizing patient feedback to monitor, and continuously improve, patient outcomes.
• Simplifying workflow with our EHR to provide timely and accurate charting, and appropriate billing codes for all encounters.
• Collaborating with referring physicians and providers to provide timely updates on patient progress throughout treatment.
• Collaborating with the Chief Medical Officer and clinical staff to review treatment plans weekly.
• Leading by example, holding yourself and others accountable for delivering high-quality work on time, consistently meeting deadlines, and upholding professional standards.
• Fostering a culture of resilience and ownership, encouraging the team to take initiative, think critically, and find solutions to complex problems.
• Other duties, as assigned.

We are looking for an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who brings respect, empathy, and kindness to our patients. This individual is responsible for direct patient care of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy, Medication Management, and Spravato at our Salem clinic, while working with our executive team to drive new patient growth for APMH. The provider will be patient-focused, enthusiastic about leading a team of clinicians, and willing to learn and apply the most up to date mental health treatment modalities.

You will be responsible for:

You will be successful, if:

• You possess a Masters degree in Nursing with a focus in psychiatric health.
• You are registered as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with credentialing in Oregon, required and Washington, preferred.
• Three years of behavioral health, preferred.
• Three years of psychiatry experience, preferred.
• Experience administering TMS, preferred. Alternatively, successful completion of TMS certification based on initial training, provided during the initial period of employment.Demonstrated proficiency in EHR/EMR recordkeeping.
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• The ability to work in a dynamic, high-demand, fast paced environment.
• A demonstrated attention to organization and details.
• Excellent communication skills, including listening, speaking, and writing.
• Demonstrated professionalism and the ability to maintain patient and clinic confidentiality.
