Centurion Health seeks a full-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join the Florida Women's Reception Center in Ocala, FL. You will provide both outpatient and correctional psychiatric services under a psychiatrist's guidance.

Join a multidisciplinary team, perform assessments, diagnoses and treatments, and contribute to high-quality mental health care within this state-of-the-art female institution. Role: Mon-Fri, day shift, no nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• ANCC/ANA APRN-PMH certification or PA-CAQ in Psychiatry.
• Active unrestricted Florida APRN-PMH license.
• Active unrestricted DEA registration.
• Minimum 6+ months of full-time PMHNP experience.
• Correctional mental health experience preferred.
• Inpatient/locked unit experience preferred.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient and reception psychiatric services or inpatient psychiatric services within a female correctional institution.
• Conduct mental health assessments, diagnoses, and treatments under the supervision of a psychiatrist.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver mental health services in a correctional setting.

Centurion of Florida is proud to be the provider of mental health services to the Florida Department of Corrections.

We are seeking a full-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Florida Women's Reception Center located in Ocala, Florida. As the Horse Capital of the World, Ocala boasts an abundance of cultural and sporting opportunities as well as ample opportunities for outdoor recreation.

This is one of the most diverse and innovative female institutions in the US. Provide outpatient and reception psychiatric services or inpatient psychiatric services within this state-of-the-art female correctional institution. Utilize some of the most innovative programing and use of specialized Mental Health Units to assist those with serious mental illness.

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides mental health/psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients under the clinical direction of a psychiatrist, as well as collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients in a correctional setting.

Qualifications:

• ANCC or ANA certification as an APRN-PMH or NCCPA Physician Assistants with CAQ in Psychiatry of qualifications
• Active unrestricted Florida APRN-PMH or PA - CAQ license
• Active unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration certificate
• Must have a minimum of 6+ months of full-time experience working exclusively as a PMHNP
• Prior correctional mental health is highly desired
• Prior inpatient and or locked unit experience is highly desired
• Able and willing to pass a comprehensive background investigation
• Work legally in the United States without sponsorship
